Withdrawal sleeves are used for fastening rolling bearings with a tapered bore to cylindrical shafts. A withdrawal sleeve makes it easier to dismantle the rolling bearing later, as the press fit of the rolling bearing can be loosened using a grooved nut placed on the withdrawal sleeve. Grooved nuts and locking elements (locking plates, locking brackets) are not included in the scope of delivery of the withdrawal sleeve. From a sleeve diameter of 150 mm, withdrawal sleeves with oil grooves enable the use of the hydraulic method.
