Under the following conditions, the bearings must be run in after installation or lubrication:
- Operating temperature < 200 °C
- Speed < 25% limit speed
The running-in phase should take place at a minimum temperature of 200 °C and last at least 48 hours. Due to the lack of preservative oils, grease or oil lubrication (this applies to all high-temperature bearings), the corrosion protection properties are limited. For this reason, open high-temperature bearings may only be used in dry environments.
