Angular contact Ball Bearing DIN 628:2008 / ISO 12044:2014
Angular contact ball bearings have raceways in the inner and outer rings that are offset from one another in the direction of the bearing axis and only absorb axial forces in one direction. They are particularly suitable for bearings that have to absorb combined loads, i.e. radial and axial loads acting at the same time. The contact angle α determines the axial load capacity of the bearing. Angular contact ball bearings are manufactured in a variety of designs and sizes. These include single-row angular contact ball bearings, double-row angular contact ball bearings, four-point bearings, precision angular contact ball bearings for machine tool construction and bearing units for automobile construction.
Single-row angular contact ball bearings are available as universal bearings for installation in sets (X, O or tandem arrangement), as well as basic design bearings for bearings with individual bearings. Universal design means that during the production of the bearings, the raceways and side surfaces of the rings are coordinated with one another in such a way that any bearing of the same size and design can be installed directly in the above-mentioned arrangements. Single-row angular contact ball bearings are manufactured with standard tolerances as standard, but can also be available in tolerance classes P6 and P5. The main dimensions of the bearings correspond to the information in DIN 628-1 (Single-row) and DIN 628-3 (Double-row) or DIN 628-1:2008 / ISO 12044:2014.
