Freewheels (Roller bearing freewheel)
A freewheel (also known as an overrunning clutch) is a clutch that can only transmit drive forces in one direction of rotation and allows free rotation in the other direction. A freewheel can therefore only transmit torque in one direction of rotation. If the direction of rotation is reversed, or if the speed of the part actually being driven is greater than that of the driving part, the connection is automatically released. In our catalog you will find mounted freewheels, roller bearing freewheels and sleeve freewheels.
